green

Alongside photographing recurrent examples of pink and blue during the Summer Lodge residency, I also became preoccupied with the stains and scuffs on walls and floors, such that I made several drawings mapping the marks I encountered. A particular series was rendered in green highlighter pen, and afterwards this was itself the source of further photographs. One of these was used in a short sequence where amoebic shapes seemingly mirror one another, and where fluorescent lighting was purposefully left without colour-correction to echo the sickly green of the drawing.
